The Divine Invasion is a 1981 science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick, which is the second of the VALIS trilogy of books. The story takes place in the future, and alternate universes, and the main theme of the book is that God, "Yah" was banished from the Earth and returns to it as a small boy named Emmanuel ("Manny").
