Hunter S. Thompson (b. July 18, 1937 - d. Feb. 20, 2005) was most known for his contributions to gonzo journalism. He was born in Kentucky and in his later years lived in the mountains of Colorado. He is most known for his semi-fictional work, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
